Posto bora is a famous dish in Bengal and it is cooked often in every Bengali houses, Also known as poppy seed cakes. Bora posta is a common Bengali dish prepared with a paste of poppy seed. It serves with rice and daal. These bora posta are so mouthwatering that you need to make lots of them.

Ingredients

  • White Urad daal / Beauly daal - 50 gram
  • posto - 50 gram
  • Green chilly - 3 pcs
  • red pepper - 2 big size
  • Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion - 1 big size
  • Tomato - 1 medium size
  • Salt to taste
  • White Oil
  • Mustard Oil - 3 tablespoon
