How to Make Jhinge Posto?

This recipe is simple to cook and healthy.

  • First, prepare vegetables cut as I did.
  • Paste in mixer grinder both of them sesame seeds and green chillies in together with some water.
  • Cut onions in-ring big sizes.
  • Also, cut a tomato in medium sizes.
  • Take a Kadai / Pan and heat with mustard oil.
  • After that, add Jhinge / Ridge Gourd into kadai, Fry for 2 minutes.
  • After 2 minutes, add chopped tomato and salt and stir for 1 minute. Lid the Kadai / Pan for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add now sliced onion and mix well. After that, add pasted sesame seeds and green chillies.
  • Now stir well till the water dries. When dry then add one tablespoon mustard oil and serve.

Finally, Ridge gourd with Sesame seeds or Jhinge Posto served with steam rice, the taste never forgot.
